Food We recommend and feed our adult labradors and puppies.
You are more than welcome to change the food if you have a strong preference, but I do recommend doing it very slowly over a few weeks. It should either be an all breed food, or a large breed puppy food. Please do not hesitate to ask and we can work together!
What Supplements should I feed my puppy?
We love a good probiotic over here, and have had alot of success with this one. I highly recommend continuing the probiotic especially during the transition of bringing your puppy home.
We also highly recommend getting your puppy started with a good quality joint supplement. There are many options out there, we just have found we really like glyoflex.
Probably the second most important supplement in our opinion is a good high quality fish oil. This helps to support their skin and coat, and provide Omega 3 Fatty Acids.
Crates and Bedding Recommendations
I recommend getting the large 42 inch crate with divider. That way as the puppy gets bigger and better with house breaking, you can give more space.
We LOVE our primo pads! They are VERY durable for lab chewing. (ask us how we know haha ) Easy to clean.
**no affiliate link, we truly just LOVE them.
For car travel, we highly recommend a car crate. We have the size large Ruffland Kennel for our vehicle, and it fits our adult sized labradors. They are an investment, but worth it to protect your pup.
We recommend a stainless steel dog food and water bowl. The plastic ones can harbor bacteria and can cause puppy acne and bacterial infections.
Beat boredom and give dogs a fun way to eat their meals! Puts their noses to work and tires them out.
Because who wants to have their dogs take a bath in their water bowl?! This has been a game changer for us! Much less mess on the floors.
We recommend toys without stuffing, or durable Kong toys or goDog toys.
TOYS and Misc Items
Dog ear rinse we swear by. A life saver if you have a pool, or live by or on a lake. We use this weekly, and after swimming.
